Mohammad Shahriar Mohammad Shahriar, managing director of Adzi Trims Ltd, has been elected president of Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) for the next two years.
Also, Mohammad Shahidullah Chowdhury was elected First Vice President and Md Maniruzzaman Molla Second Vice President of the association, according to a statement of the trade body.
Md. Mobarok Ullah and Mozaharul Haque Shahid were elected Vice President and Vice President (Finance) respectively.
The election results were announced on May 21 and the new office-bearers took charge on May 26, the statement said.
The newly elected 16 directors are Kazi Fahad, Mohammad Firoz Uddin, Md. Nasirul Alam, Md. Saiful Islam Sabuz, Zahir Uddin Md. Babor, A.K.M. Mostafa Selim, Md. Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury, A.T.M Kamruzzaman, Jamil Ahmed, Kazi Ashraful Hoque Jewel, Md. Atikur Rahman, Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Md. Shahidul Islam Chowdhury, Md. Abdul Wazed, Mohammad Belal and Belal Uddin.
