Shahjalal Bank MD takes over
M. Shahidul Islam, a prominent and senior banker with more than 34 years of multi-functional experience, took the charge of Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited on Monday. Earlier, he was the Additional Managing Director (AMD) of the same bank. Prior to his joining this bank, he was the AMD of United Commercial Bank Limited. He started his banking career with National Bank Limited as 'Probationary Officer' in 1984.

SIBL gets new AMD
Kazi Towhidul Alam joined Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) as Additional Managing Director (AMD) on Monday. Prior to his joining the SIBL, he was Deputy Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd and led the investment wing there. He obtained honors and masters in accounting from the University of Chittagong. — Statement
