Modhumoti Bank Limited signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited (NESCL) at the head office of the electricity supply company recently. Md Shafiul Azam, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, and Engr Zakiul Islam, Managing Director of Northern Electricity Supply Company, exchanged the documents of the agreement. Under the agreement, Modhumoti Bank will collect electricity bills from customers of Northern Electricity Supply Company online in all its branches. — Statement

Dhaka Bank signed an agreement with Reliance Finance Ltd. for providing online cash management services to the latter at the bank’s corporate office on Tuesday. Emranul Huq, Additional Managing Director of Dhaka Bank, and Dr Md Jalal Uddin, Managing Director of Reliance Finance, has signed and exchanged the agreement. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka Bank, was present at the signing ceremony. Under the agreement, Dhaka Bank will provide automated fund collection and payment service to the client. — Statement
