Beximco Pharma donates drugs

to Spreeha

Beximco Pharma, the country's leading manufacturer and exporter of medicines, has extended its support to Spreeha Bangladesh Foundation through donation of large quantities of medicines. Rabbur Reza, Chief Operating Officer of Beximco Pharma, handed over the medicines, as a part of its CSR initiatives, to Tazin Shadid, founder and CEO of Spreeha Bangladesh. Senior officials from both sides were present.

BSEC consent for issuing Subordinated Bond

EXIM Bank Limited: Referring to their earlier news disseminated on May 10, 2018 the bank has further informed that BSEC has accorded consent under the provision of the Securities and Exchange Commission (Private Placement of Debt Securities) Rules, 2012 for issuance of 7 years Floating Rate, Non-Convertible, Mudaraba Subordinated Bond for Tk.6.00 billion only through Private Placement. The purpose of issuance of the Bond is to raise the Tier-II Capital of the Bank and its issue price will be 100 per cent at par.

Placing shares in public mkt from spot mkt

Stylecraft Limited: BSEC, vide its Order No. BSEC/Surveillance/2018-912/61 dated 19.02.2019, has withdrawn its earlier Order No. BSEC/ Surveillance/2018-912/43 dated October 17, 2018 and No. BSEC/ Surveillance/2018-912/32 dated August 16, 2018 and placed the shares of Stylecraft Limited to the Public Market from Spot market for transactions, with effect from Wednesday. Moreover, financial adjustment facilities in transactions of the shares will be applicable as per the existing rules.

Monno Jute Stafflers Ltd.: BSEC, vide its Order No. BSEC/ Surveillance/ 2018-912/61 dated 19.02.2019, has withdrawn its earlier Order No. BSEC/ Surveillance/2018-912/43 dated October 17, 2018 and No. BSEC/ Surveillance/ 2018-912/32 dated August 16, 2018 and placed the shares of Monno Jute Stafflers Ltd. to the Public Market from Spot market for transactions, with effect from Wednesday. Moreover, financial adjustment facilities in transactions of the shares will be applicable as per the existing rules.
