BIAA SVP attends Sichuan Tea Expo

M S I Dastagir, Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association (BIAA) attended the 7th China Sichuan International Tea Expo held recently at Chengdu, Sichuan, P R of China as guest of honour. BIAA participates the Expo every year at the invitation of the Organizing Committee of China Sichuan International Tea Expo as one of the development partners. The Expo was co-hosted by Sichuan Provincial Agricultural Department & China Tea Science Society and supported by Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Commission, Sichuan Commission of Tourism Development, Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, Department of Culture of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. The Exhibition Theme was Internationalization, Integration and Sharing. The Expo was attended by foreign diplomats, leading tea producing enterprises, government officials and high-level executives of conglomerates. M S I Dastagir signed a MoU with the Sichuan Marketing Association to explore the business relationship between Sichuan and Bangladesh. The MoU will facilitate business development specially in the field of tea sector. BIAA will arrange a tea fair in Bangladesh in association with Sichuan Marketing Association, where major tea producing enterprises of China and other South-East Asian countries will take part. — Statement
