DBBL holds 22nd AGM
The 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) was held at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Thursday. Presiding over the meeting, the bank's board Chairman Sayem Ahmed welcomed the shareholders who attended the AGM and approved a cash dividend at 30% for the year 2017. Among others, directors of the bank Abedur Rashid Khan (Chairman, Executive Committee of the Board of Directors), Md. Fakhrul Islam, Md. Nazim Uddin Bhuiyan, FCMA (Chairman, Audit Committee of the Board of Directors) and Mohd. Khorshed Alam attended the meeting. Among others, the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2017 were placed before the AGM and a number of Shareholders discussed the performance of the bank. — Statement
Prime Insurance approves 15pc cash dividend
Prime Insurance has approved 15 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders for the year 2017. The approval was given at the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the company held at PSC Convention Hall, Mirpur- 14 in the capital. Md. Zakiullah Shahid, Chairman of the company, presided over the meeting. A large number of shareholders attended the meeting and unanimously adopted the directors' report, auditors' report and the audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2017. IBBL celebrates 35th anniversary
Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) Thursday organised a discussion meeting marking its 35th founding anniversary at Islami Bank Tower in the capital. Arastoo Khan, Chairman of the bank, attended the program as chief guest. Presided over by Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank, the programme was addressed by senior executives of the bank.
