Tarek Reaz Khan

Tarek Reaz now DMD of MTB

Tarek Reaz Khan has recently been promoted to Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) with effect from January 1. Prior to his new assignment, Mr Tarek was the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of SME and Retail Banking Divisions. He joined MTB on November 01 in 2015 and has made significant contributions to the bank. After completing his master's degree in Marketing from the University of Dhaka, he started out as a management trainee in the Beximco Group in 1994. He commenced his banking career with the Standard Chartered Bank as a trainee officer in 1997 and worked until 2013. Prior to joining MTB, he served Bank Alfalah Bangladesh as Head of Retail Banking and Head of Business, Bangladesh Operations. He also served at the Premier Bank as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.— Statement

Trust Bank, Biman sign agreement

Trust Bank Limited and Biman Bangladesh Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the city recently. Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, Head of Business, Trust Bank, and Mohammad Salahuddin, Deputy General Manager, Biman Bangladesh, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Under the agreement, Trust Bank cardholders and employees will be offered up to 20 per cent discount on domestic and international ticket prices. Among others, Managing Director & CEO of Trust Bank Faruq Mainuddin, Additional Managing Director Humaira Azam, Director (Marketing and Sales) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ashraful Alam and other officials from both the organisations were present at the ceremony. — Statement
