NHRDF signs deals with 7 skills training providers

The National Human Resource Development Fund (NHRDF) signed implementation arrangement agreements with seven skills training providers (STPs) on Saturday.

The National Human Resource Development Fund (NHRDF) signed implementation arrangement agreements with seven skills training providers (STPs) on Saturday to promote and develop demand-driven workforce through skills training, says a press release.
The agreements involve a training grant of Tk 44.414 million.
Dr Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Zakia Sultana, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Industries, and other Directors of the NHRDF board were present at the signing ceremony.
The one-year contract was signed with Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Center (BITAC), Bogura, Brahmanbaria Technical Training Center (TTC), Cumilla Technical Training Centre (TTC), National Academy for Computer Training and Research (NACTAR), Bogura, Zonal Co-operative Training Institute, Narsingdi (CZIN), E-Learning & Earning Ltd.,Mirpur, Dhaka, and European IT Solutions Institute (European IT), Mirpur, Dhaka.
The skills training will be provided in 12 areas to a total of 1,728 trainees, including women, marginalised, socially disadvantaged, physically challenged and ethnic minority groups.
