The training programme was aimed at educating participants on the safe usage and storage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) within commercial establishments and kitchen environments.
Representatives of leading hotels, restaurants, cafes, and corporate entities attended the sessions. Through a series of interactive sessions and demonstrations, attendees gained valuable insights into best practices for handling LPG to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.
Brig. Gen. Engr. Ali Ahmed Khan, former director general of Fire Service & Civil Defence, was present as the chief guest.
He highlighted the importance of adhering to safety protocols and regulations to mitigate risks associated with LPG usage in commercial buildings.
The training session covered various topics, such as proper handling and storage of LPG cylinders, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures, emergency response protocols in case of LPG-related incidents, and compliance with safety standards and regulations, etc.
