Padma Oil approves 125pc dividend

The 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Padma Oil Company Limited was held virtually through a digital platform on Saturday. Chairman of the company's Board of Directors and Senior Secretary, Energy & Mineral Resources Division, Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources Md Anisur Rahman presided over the meeting while Managing Director (MD) Md Masudur Rahman was present. The AGM approved 125 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders.

CHATTOGRAM, Feb 28: The 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Padma Oil Company Limited was held virtually through a digital platform on Saturday. The AGM approved 125 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders.
Chairman of the company's Board of Directors and Senior Secretary, Energy & Mineral Resources Division, Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources Md Anisur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Directors of the Board respectively Md Ekhlasur Rahman, Quazi Md Anwarul Hakim, Dr Mohd. Sher Ali, Mohammed Shahidul Alam, K M Eneyetul Karim, Nasiruddin Akhter Rashid, Suzadur Rahman, company's Managing Director (MD) Md Masudur Rahman, Company Secretary Sohel Abdullah and BPC and company's high officials were present at the AGM.
The Chairman welcomed the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting. The meeting started with the Chairman's inviting comments on proceedings of the last Annual General Meeting followed by comments on the Directors' Report and audited Financial Statements for the year that ended on 30 June, 2020.
