PDBL chairman, vice chairman re-elected

The 7th Annual General Meeting of Primary Dealers Bangladesh Limited (PDBL) was held Tuesday at MTB Tower in the city.
Anis A. Khan, Chairman, PDBL and Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank Limited chaired the meeting. Managing Directors, Chief Executive Officers, Additional Managing Directors, Deputy Managing Directors and senior treasury officials of different banks were present at the annual event.
The Audited Financial Statements of PDBL for the year ended December 31, 2014 were unanimously adopted by the house and M/s Malek Siddique Wali, Chartered Accountants were reappointed as external auditors.
A twelve member Board of Directors of PDBL was formed in the meeting. The members of the Board are: Managing Director/CEOs of Sonali Bank Limited, Agrani Bank Limited,  Janata Bank Limited, AB Bank Limited, Jamuna Bank Limited, Mercantile Bank Limited, Mutual Trust Bank Limited, National Bank Limited, National Credit & Commerce Bank Limited, Prime Bank Limited, Southeast Bank Limited  and Uttara Bank Limited.
Anis A. Khan, Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank Limited was re-elected as the Chairman, while Shahid Hossain, Managing Director & CEO, Southeast Bank Limited was also re-elected Vice Chairman of PDBL by the newly formed Board of Directors.
Ashim Kumar Saha, Executive Vice President, National Credit and Commerce Bank Limited was elected as Convener of the 12-member PDBL Technical Committee.
