Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation and the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling signed an agreement at PKSF Bhaban in Dhaka on Tuesday. To generate deeper insights into the quality of employment created through the various interventions of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), a research agreement was signed between PKSF and the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (Sanem) on Tuesday.
Md Fazlul Kader, Managing Director of PKSF; Dr Bazlul Haque Khondker, Chairman of Sanem; and senior officials from both organisations attended the signing ceremony at PKSF Bhaban in Dhaka on Tuesday, says a press statement.
Earlier, PKSF and Sanem signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on April 19. Building on that understanding, this agreement formally marks the launch of a joint research initiative between the two organisations.
Under the proposed research to be conducted under this agreement, the nature and quality of employment generated through PKSF's various programmes will be assessed. The findings will also help identify practical strategies for promoting more relevant, productive and decent employment opportunities in the future.
