PRAGATI LIFE AND BRAC BANK SETTLE BANCASSURANCE CLAIM

Pragati Life Insurance PLC, in partnership with BRAC Bank PLC, has successfully settled its first insurance claim under the Bancassurance platform, marking a significant milestone in Bangladesh's growing bancassurance sector. Following the demise of a policyholder, a cheque for Tk 1,228,484 was formally handed over to the nominee at a ceremony held at the BRAC Bank's Head Office in Dhaka recently. Pragati Life settled this claim within 48 hours. Md. Jalalul Azim, Managing Director and CEO of Pragati Life, and Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Brac Bank, were present at the cheque handover ceremony.
