More than three-fourths of the Prime Finance First Mutual Fund unit holders have voted in favour of the extension of the Fund for another three-year period, said a press release.
In this connection, a special meeting of the unit holders to receive opinions in connection with the extension of the scheme for another three-year period as per "Securities and Exchange Commission (Mutual Fund) Rules-2001 was held in the city Thursday.
The Fund, managed by ICB Asset Management Company Limited (IAMCL), will complete seven-year period on March 15, 2016.
Chairman of the board of directors of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) Prof Dr Mojib Uddin Ahmed was present at the meeting as the chief guest, while Managing Director of the ICB Md Fayekuzzaman presided over it.
The members of the Trustee Committee and a good number of unit holders were present at the meeting.
