Promoted as DMDs of NCC Bank

M Asheq Rahman and Md Mahbub Alam have recently been promoted to Deputy Managing Directors (DMDs) of NCC Bank Ltd.

Prior to his promotion, Asheq Rahman was serving as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of ICC Division of the bank. He was also an In-charge of Law Division & Special Asset Management (SAM).

Before joining the NCC Bank, Mr Rahman was serving as the Chief Country Compliance Officer & Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CAMLCO) at Citi Bank NA.

He has more than 25 years of experience across multi-function and multi-geography and worked for different organisations like Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh, BRAC Bank Limited, Warid Congo SA, Brazzaville, Congo, and Tharaldson Property Management, Inc. USA.

Md Mahbub Alam, prior to his promotion, was serving as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Corporate Business Unit of the bank, said a statement.

Mr Alam, who joined the bank in January 2017, also served as the Manager of Gulshan Branch of the bank.

Mr Alam started off his banking career as a probationary officer of Uttara Bank Ltd. in 1996. He also worked with Mercantile Bank Ltd. and Jamuna Bank Ltd.
