Rafiul Islam new DMD of Uttara Bank

Md. Rafiul Islam has been appointed as the new deputy managing director (DMD) of Uttara Bank. Prior to this, he was the executive general manager of the bank, according to a press release.

Mr Islam started his banking career in Uttara Bank in 1999 as officer grade-I. He worked at ICT division, MIS department, development & support department, card department, stationary & records department, engineering department, anti money laundering department, business promotion department, branches operation department etc.

During his 26-year banking career, he attended many training programmes, seminars, symposiums and workshops at home and abroad.

Mr Islam obtained B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) degree in 1997 from Khulna University. He was born in Sreepur of Bogra's Dupchanchia Upazila.
