Replacing lead-acid batteries with lithium batteries

Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) and SOLshare recently signed an agreement to finance smart lithium batteries for electric three-wheelers, promoting sustainability in Bangladesh. At the signing ceremony at MTB Centre, the bank's corporate head office in the capital's Gulshan 1, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director & CEO of MTB, and Dr. Sebastian Groh, CEO & co-founder of SOLshare, exchanged documents, formalising the collaboration. This partnership enables three-wheeler owners to replace traditional lead-acid batteries with IoT-enabled smart lithium batteries by granting loans from the MTB.
