The Election Board of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) led by its Chairman Dr. R. M. Debnath published the final result of election of SCB's newly elected office bearers and directors for the term 2022 & 2023.
Md. Rezaul Karim, Proprietor, S.N. Jute International was re-elected chairman while Md. Ariful Ahsan, Chairman, Silk Container Lines Ltd. was elected Senior Vice Chairman and A. K. M. Aminul Mannan (Khokon), Proprietor, East West Jute Trading Co. Vice Chairman.
The newly-elected directors are (1) Md. Munir Hossain, Director, Dress World Ltd. (2) Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, Proprietor, Arzu Jute Traders (3) Syed Md. Bakhtiar, Chairman, Active Logistics (4) Md. Nurussafa Babu, Director, Electro Mart Ltd. (5) Ziaul Islam, Partner, M.S. Fashions (6) Ganesh Chandra Saha, Managing Partner, International Jute Traders (7) Ataur Rahman Khan, Proprietor, A.R. Khan & Co. and (8) K. M. Arifuzzaman, Proprietor, King Ocean Shipping Lines.
