Robi to provide 500 poOur Correspondentwer connections to Nikhongchari

CHITTAGONG, February 25: Mobile phone operator Robi will provide 500 electricity lines free of cost to the hill area residents in Nikhongchari upazila of Rangamati hill district.
Syed Talat Kamal, vice president of Corporate Communication and Media Relations, said this at a function in the city on Monday. Manager of Robi Public Relations and regional media and events manager Niaz Mohammed Siddiqul were present on the occasion.
The senior executives inspected the Robi Internet Corner set up at the Chittagong Public Library in the year 2012. Apart from the one in Chittagong, the cell phone service provider has set up internet corners and in six other divisional cities - Dhaka, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Khulna, Sylhet and Barisal.
Those who arrive at the Chittagong Public Library get the chance to browse the Robi Internet Corner free of cost, readers said.
Robi Axiata Ltd announced that it has improved its market share with 4.3 million customer additions in 2013 against intense competition and other challenges.
