SABINCO approves Tk 150m cash div

Chairman of Saudi-Bangladesh Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited (SABINCO) Sultan Abdulrauf and other members of the board pose at the 39th Annual General Meeting of the company held at its Head Office in Dhaka recently.

The 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Saudi-Bangladesh Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited (SABINCO) was held at its Head Office in Dhaka recently, says a press release.

The meeting approved a cash dividend of Tk 150 million for the year 2022. The company earned a net profit of Tk 441.21 million during the year.

The meeting reviewed the operational performance, accounts and investment portfolio. Chairman of the company Sultan Abdulrauf presided over the meeting.

SABINCO is a joint venture financial institution equally owned by the Government of Bangladesh and the Government of Saudi Arabia.

Md Shah Alam, Joint Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, and Mohammed H. Alshuhail, Director, SABINCO, represented the respective shareholders at the meeting.

Other members of the Board of SABINCO who attended the meeting were Deputy Chairman Fatima Yasmin, Senior Secretary, Finance Division, and Director Sharifa Khan, Secretary, Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, representing the Government of Bangladesh, while Director Mohammed H. Alshuhail and Director Mohammed M Almalki represented the Government of Saudi Arabia.

Ahmed Ehsanul Karim, Managing Director, and other senior members of the management were also present at the meeting.
