SCB signs MoU with Chinese company on healthcare services

The Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China's Boyue Kangcheng (Beijing) Culture & Tourism Co. Ltd. at the council's conference room on Saturday.
The Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China's Boyue Kangcheng (Beijing) Culture & Tourism Co. Ltd. to facilitate cross-border healthcare services for its members and officials.
The MoU, titled "China-Bangladesh Cross-Border Healthcare Services Cooperation," was signed during a meeting between SCB leaders and a visiting Chinese delegation at the council's conference room, says a press conference.
SCB Chairman Md Rezaul Karim and the leader of the Chinese delegation, Dehui Zhang, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Speaking at the meeting, Rezaul Karim said the agreement would enable SCB members, officials and their immediate family members to access advanced medical treatment in China while enjoying special financial concessions.
SCB Senior Vice Chairman Syed Md Bakhtiar, Vice Chairman Ataur Rahman Khan, directors of the council and other members of the Chinese delegation were present at the meeting.
