Seminar on credit access for women entrepreneurs held

A seminar titled 'credit access for women entrepreneurs-challenges and the way forward' was held Saturday in Sylhet.

Bangladesh INSPIRED - Component 3, in cooperation with Bangladesh Bank and women chambers and women entrepreneurs' organisations in Sylhet region organised the seminar.

Dr. Atiur Rahman, Governor of Bangladesh Bank addressed the seminar as chief guest.

Mr. Pierre Mayaudon, Ambassador and the Head of Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh, Mr  Md. Abul Quasem, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Mr Salah Uddin Ahmed, President, Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Selima R.F. Hussain, CEO and Managing Director of IDLC Finance Limited were present as special guests, said a statement.
