Shahjalal Islami Bank gets strongest Shariah bank award

Shahjalal Islami Bank has been awarded the title of 'strongest Shariah-based bank' by the Global Economist Forum. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, managing director of Shahjalal Islami Bank, received the award from Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, former foreign affairs advisor of the caretaker government. Dr Enayet Karim, president of the Global Economist Forum, Major General Dr Dilawar Singh, senior vice president and Haji Haris bin Haji Othman, high commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Bangladesh, were present at the award ceremony.
