SHAHJALAL ISLAMI BANK HOLDS 91ST MEETING OF SHARI'AH COMMITTEE

The 91st meeting of the Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBPLC) was held at the Corporate Head Office of the bank on Monday. Chairman of the committee Mufti Shamsuddin Zia presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari'ah compliance in overall Islamic Banking operations and provided Shari'ah-based guideline and approvals on various matters. Among others, committee member Mufti Abdullah Masum, Managing Director of the bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Head of Shari'ah Secretariat of the bank Md. Abul Bashar were present in the meeting.
