Shahzibazar Power Company was placed to 'A' category from existing "N" category with effect from today (Thursday) as the company reported disbursement of 30 per cent dividend.
"The company will be placed in 'A' category from existing 'N' category with effect from today (Thursday) as the company has reported disbursement of 25 per cent cash and 5.0 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2014," said a web post on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Wednesday.
Shahzibazar Power made debut on the DSE on July 15, last year.
Using the fixed price method, the company floated 12.68 million ordinary shares at an offer price of Tk 25, including a premium of Tk 15 for each ten share and a raised a fund worth Tk 317 million from public.
Each share of the company closed at Tk 218.4 on Wednesday, registering an increase of 6.25 per cent over the previous session.
