SHIPPERS' COUNCIL HOLDS EMERGENT MEETING

An emergent meeting of the Board of Directors of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) was held on Sunday at its office in Dhaka, with its Chairman Md Rezaul Karim in the chair. The meeting approved the minutes of the previous meeting & accounts statement. The meeting decided to organise a Doa & Iftar Mahfil and approved its budget. The Board also decided to distribute food items among the poor and distressed people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Senior Vice Chairman Md Ariful Ahsan; Vice Chairman Ganesh Chandra Saha and Directors Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, Syed Md. Bakhtiar, Ziaul Islam, K. M. Arifuzzaman and Lokapriya Barua attended the meeting.
