Shurwid Ind gets new Chairman, MD

The shareholders of Shurwid Industries Limited have elected its director Engineer Mahmudul Hasan as its new managing director for next five years.

The decision was taken in the company's 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and 4th Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on the company's premises at Konabari in Gazipur Saturday.

Anamul Karim has been elected Independent Director of the company.

The shareholders of the company also approved 15% stock dividend for the year ending June 30, 2014.The EGM and AGM were chaired by the company's Director Tuhin Reza.

In a board meeting held at 20th December in the capital in the evening, its board of directors consisting five members selected Tuhin Reza as the chairman of Shurwid Industries Ltd.
