SJIBSL reelects chair, vice chairmen

Alhaj Mohiuddin Ahmed and Alhaj Md Sanaullah Shahid and Alhaj Mohammad Younus have been reelected chairman and vice chairmen respectively of Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Limited (SJIBSL).

They were reelected at the 33rd meeting of the board of directors of the company in the city Sunday, said a press release.

Mr Mohiuddin is the chairman of Rupsha Trading Corporation, Mohiuddin & Company and Pacific Automobile.

He is also the sponsor director of Islami Insurance Company and founder vice chairman of Southeast University.

Mr Shahid is a sponsor shareholder and director of Shahjalal Islami Bank and the chairman of Electra International Ltd., a sole distributor of Samsung brand electronics goods.

Mr Younus is the managing director of Sobhan Ice & Cold Storage, Younus Filament Industries, Younus Plastic Industries, Younus Cold Storage, Quality Accessories, Ananta Paper Mills, Younus Fine Paper Mills, Younus Spinning Mills, Sonali Paper and Board Mills, Sharif Cold Storage, Younus Newsprint Mills and Younus Offset Paper Mills.

He is also the director of NTV.
