The annual general meeting of the SME Foundation held Saturday recommended expanding its activities for the development of the sector across the country.
At the eighth AGM of the agency for promotion of small and medium enterprises, held at the Daily Star Bhaban in the city, the members of its executive committee hoped for effective measures to ease the banking problems so that the women entrepreneurs get loan easily.
"Annual report and audit report of the SME Foundation executive committee for 2012-13 were approved unanimously at the AGM," said a press release.
SME Foundation chairperson M Habib Ullah presided over the AGM while managing director Syed Md Ihsanul Karim moderated the meet.
Industries Ministry additional secretary Md Farhad Uddin was among others present on the occasion.
