Software Shop's dues to BTRC under consideration

Software Shop Limited has issued a statement on its dues to Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission.

In the statement, the company said, "A news item on May 14, 2024, concerning Software Shop Limited's dues to the BTRC has come to our notice. In this connection, we would like to bring to the attention of the BTRC that claims of dues of all the TVAS licensees are being coordinated by the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and is currently under consideration by the regulatory authorities."

"The concerned short code has already been renewed. The question of renewal of tariffs is also in the process of being sorted out. We being in full compliance of all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines are in regular communication with the relevant regulatory authority," the statement added.
