Sonar Bangla Ins chairman reelected

The board of directors of Sonar Bangla Insurance Ltd in its 101st meeting unanimously re-elected Mr Sheikh Kabir Hossain as Chairman and elected Mr Md. Motaleb Hossain as Vice-Chairman recently, said a press release.

Sheikh Kabir Hossain is also the President of Bangladesh Insurance Associatioin (BIA), Managing Director of Kabico Ltd. He was the Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. He is the Member of Governors of Open University Bangladesh, Vice-Chairman of Islamia Eye Hospital, Director of National Tea Company Ltd and Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd.

He was the ex-international director of Lions Clubs International. He is the founder many schools, colleges, mosques. Besides, he is associated with various social activities.

The newly-elected Vice-Chairman Md Motaleb Hossain is the Managing Diector of MH Jute Mills Ltd and he is associated with various social activities.
