Sonar Bangla Ins re-elects chairman, vice-chairman

Mr. Sheikh Kabir Hossain and Mr. Shahidul Islam Niru were re-elected as Chairperson & Vice-Chairperson of Sonar Bangla Insurance Ltd respectively.

The Board of Directors of Sonar Bangla Insurance Ltd. in its 120th Meeting unanimously re-elected Mr. Sheikh Kabir Hossain as Chairperson and Mr. Shahidul Islam Niru as Vice-Chairperson recently.

Mr. Sheikh Kabir Hossain is the President of Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA). Chairman, Board of Trusty Fareast International University, Bangladesh Private University Association, CDBL & Sonar Bangla Capital Management Ltd. He is the Managing Director of M/s. Kabico Ltd. He is the Member of Governors of Open University Bangladesh, Vice-Chairman of Islamia Eye Hospital & Director of FBCCI. He was the Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society & International Director of Lions Clubs International. He is the founder of many schools, colleges, mosques. Besides, he is involved with various social activities.

The Vice-Chairperson Mr. Shahidul Islam Niru is the Chairman of Ecotech Solution Ltd. and Director of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) & Ecochem Bangladesh (Pvt.) Ltd. He is General Body Member of FBCCI. He is also involved with various educational institutions & social activities, said a statement.
