South Asia Ins gets new CEO

Muhammad Nurul Alam Chowdhury has been appointed as CEO of South Asia Insurance Company Ltd., says a press release.
A renowned educationist, writer and insurance personality, Mr Chowdhury has 34 years of experience in non-life insurance sector, working with Eastern Insurance, Meghna Insurance and Islami Insurance Bangladesh Ltd.
He started off his career as an intern with Eastern Insurance Co. Ltd. back in 1990.
Gradually, he worked in Finance & Accounts, HR & Admin, Underwriting, Internal Audit and lastly Marketing Department. He proved his worth in different positions like Company Secretary, CFO and other senior positions.
Mr. Chowdhury completed his honours & master's degree from Jagannath University.
Later, he was certified by Canadian Education Centre as a CGA.
Nurul Alam Chowdhury was born in a devout Muslim family of 'Pir Shaheber Bari' in Sonagaji under Feni district.
