SOUTHEAST BANK, BB SIGN PARTICIPATION AGREEMENTS

Southeast Bank recently signed participation agreements with Bangladesh Bank (BB) under Cluster Financing Scheme and FSFDCMSME Refinancing Scheme through BB's SME and Special Programs Department to strengthen financing support for cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSME) at BB. Under the schemes, CMSME customers will be able to avail themselves of financing facilities at a concessional interest rate. The initiatives will help expand financing support for cluster-based industries, micro and small entrepreneurs and financially underserved CMSME sectors. In presence of Nurun Nahar, deputy governor, and Husne Ara Shikha, executive director of BB, the agreement was signed by Nawshad Mustafa, director, SME & special programs department; and Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, managing director and CEO, Southeast Bank.
