The 21st Annual General Meeting of Takaful Islami Insurance Ltd was held on Saturday on a digital platform. Anwer Hossain Khan MP, Chairman, presided over the meeting while Chief Executive Officer Qazi Mukarram Dastagir was present. Abul Kalam Azad, Company Secretary of the company, conducted the AGM. Anwer Hossain Khan MP, Chairman, presided over the meeting while Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury (Emdad), Vice Chairman, Md. Humayun Kabir Patwary, Chairman, Executive Committee, Tahmina Afroz, Chairman, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Engr. Khondaker Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Shahanaz Parvin, Khorshed Alam Khan, AFM Motaseem Belal, Jahirul Islam, Md. Ziauddin Podhar, Billal Hossain, Directors and Qazi Mukarram Dastagir, Chief Executive Officer, Abul Kalam Azad, Company Secretary and Mohammad Mamunul Islam, Chief Financial Officer, including 159 shareholders attended the meeting, said a statement.
The AGM unanimously approved 10 per cent cash dividend for the year 2020, directors report, audited accounts, auditors report for the year ended 31st, December, 2020 and re-appointment of M/s. ARTISAN, Chartered Accountant as Auditor and M/s. Huda Hossain & Co., Chartered Accountant as Compliance Auditor for the year 2021.
