The 127th meeting of the board of directors of Takaful Islami Insurance Limited was held in the city recently.
The meeting unanimously elected Tahmina Afroz as Chairman and Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury (Emdad) as Vice Chairman (Chairman of Lucky Group) for the year 2022-2023, said a statement.
Mrs. Tahmina Afroz is a Director of Anwer Hossain Khan Modern Hospital, Anwer Khan Nursing College, Anwer Khan Modern University, Hazi Shakhawat Anwara Eye Hospital and Modern Diabetic Centre. Tahmina Afroz is the wife of a renowned businessman Mr. Anwer Khan MP, Chairman & Managing Director of Modern Group.
Mr. Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury is the Chairman of Kattali Textile Ltd and Managing Director of DN Securities Ltd, Lucky Shipping, Lucky Store/Lucky Corner and Lifetime Member of Chittagong Press Club.
Besides the meeting re-elected Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir Patwary as Chairman of Executive Committee (Managing Director of Park Group) and Mr. Khorshed Alam Khan as Chairman of Claim Committee and elected Md. Mahedi Hasan as Chairman of Audit Committee and Mr. Md. Azizul Hossain Baten as Chairman of Nomination and Remuneration Committee for the year 2022-2023.
