Takaful Islami Ins gives 12pc stock dividend

The 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Takaful Islami Insurance Ltd (TIIL) was held in the city recently. Md Abul Hashem, Chairman of the company presided over the meeting, said a press release.
Md Mofiz Uddin, Vice Chairman, Md Humayun Kabir Patwary, Chairman, Executive Committee, Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Chairman, Audit Committee, directors, sponsors, shareholders and KAM Ferdous, Chief Executive Officer attended the meeting.
The AGM unanimously approved 12 per cent Stock Dividend, Directors Report, Audited Accounts, Auditors Report for the year ended 31st, December, 2014 and re-appointment of M/s Huda Hossain & Co Auditor.
Engr Khondaker Mesbauddin Ahmed and Anwar Hossain Khan, were elected Sponsor Director and Anwar Hossain and Md Mohiuddin were re-elected Public Shareholders' Director in the meeting.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) KAM Ferdous thanked the shareholders for their participation and wide rage of suggestions and advices and assured the shareholders that their suggestions and advices will receive due consideration of the management for compliance and betterment of the company.
Abul Kalam Azad, company secretary conducted the AGM.
