Top 4 Sensex cos lose Rs 393.91b in market valuation

NEW DELHI, Sept 21 (PTI): Four of the top-10 Sensex firms suffered a combined loss of Rs 393.91 billion from their market valuation last week, with state-run ONGC taking the steepest hit.
While ONGC, RIL, CIL and SBI suffered losses in their market capitalisation (m-cap), TCS, ITC, Infosys, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Sun Pharma on the other together added Rs 267.58 billion in their valuation.
The m-cap of ONGC declined by Rs 206.62 billion to Rs 3464.97 billion, while that of Coal India tumbled Rs 76.42 billion to Rs 2184.51 billion.
RIL's value fell by Rs 68.24 billion to Rs 3216.78 billion and SBI lost Rs 42.63 billion to Rs 1917.57 billion.
In contrast, TCS added Rs 200.18 billion to Rs 5304.33 billion in its market valuation, while the m-cap of ITC rose by Rs 31.16 billion to Rs 2866.35 billion.
