Top-5 Sensex cos add Rs 367.80b in m-cap

NEW DELHI, Feb 8 (PTI): The combined market capitalisation of top-five Sensex companies rose by Rs 367.80 billion last week, where IT majors TCS and Infosys stole the show with maximum rise in their valuation.
The gainers among the top-10 companies include ITC, CIL and HDFC, while those that suffered losses were ONGC, RIL, HDFC Bank, SBI and HUL.
The cumulative loss of these five laggards was Rs 273.01 billion.
Among winners, TCS's market valuation surged Rs 186.08 billion to Rs 5045.68 billion, the most among the top-10 firms.
The m-cap of Infosys soared Rs 99.46 billion to Rs 2560.35 billion and ITC added Rs 39.20 billion to Rs 2987.96 billion.
Similarly, HDFC's valuation rose by Rs 22.22 billion to Rs 2011.89 billion and that of CIL moved up by Rs 20.84 billion to Rs 2300.10 billion.
