During the week, top 10 turnover leaders posted an aggregate amount of transaction worth Tk 9.97 billion and contributed 25.11 per cent in weekly market turnover.
Of top 10 companies, the share prices of seven declined ranging 0.26 per cent to 5.42 per cent in five sessions of last week.
Of the companies, Beximco posted a turnover of Tk 2.62 billion and grabbed 6.61 per cent of weekly market transaction.
The company's share price declined 0.26 per cent and closed at Tk 152 each on Thursday.
The share price of Fortune Shoes declined 1.05 per cent in five sessions and the price closed at Tk 122 each on Thursday.
During the week, the company posted a turnover of Tk 1.64 billion and captured 4.14 per cent of the weekly market transaction.
The share price of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation declined 1.78 per cent in five sessions and closed at Tk 116.10 each.
The company posted a turnover of Tk 1.34 billion and grabbed 3.37 per cent of the total transaction of the week.
British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company posted a turnover of Tk 790.92 million and captured 1.99 per cent of the weekly market turnover.
The company's share price went down by 5.42 per cent in last week and closed at Tk 579.10 each.
In last week, the share price of Orion Pharma declined 1.39 per cent and closed at Tk 99.20 each on Thursday.
During the week, the company posted a turnover of Tk 773.93 million and captured 1.95 per cent of weekly market turnover.
Sonali Paper & Board Mills posted a turnover of Tk 600.88 million and grabbed 1.51 per cent of weekly market turnover.

The remaining three companies which were in the chart of top 10 turnover leaders saw price appreciation ranging 6.61 per cent to 41.74 per cent.
Of the companies, the share price of BDCOM Online advanced 41.74 per cent and closed at Tk 34.30 each.
Following such price appreciation, the company was also the number one gainer in last week on the premier bourse.
