TRAINING COURSE ON 'ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT' UNDER SICIP

Under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), a one-month special training course on 'Entrepreneur Development' (Batch 60/2026) was inaugurated at the Janata Bank Staff College, Dhaka recently. The training programme is being conducted under the overall supervision of the SME and Special Programmes Department of Bangladesh Bank. A total of 25 entrepreneurs are participating in the course. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Md Masum Billah, Programme Director of the course and Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank; Mohammad Wasim, Deputy Programme Director of the course and Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank; and S.M. Shariful Islam, Deputy General Manager of the SME Department of Janata Bank. The SICIP is being implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance with funding from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
