Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Awards ceremony on Oct 5

Prime Bank PLC, one of the leading private commercial banks, has joined hands with The Bangladesh Monitor to organise the first-ever recognition programme for establishments and individuals excelling in services in travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.
A total of 31 establishments and individuals in 25 categories will be formally recognised for their stellar performance at a gala award ceremony to be held on October 5, says a statement.
Peter A Semone, Chairman of Pacific Asia Travel Association, will be present as the chief guest and hand over the awards among the winners.
A Jury Board comprising representatives from diverse professions and social groups selected the winners from among 184 entries.
The selection was made based on quality of presentation, online public voting and experts' opinion. A staggering 108,000 online votes were cast in different categories.
Leading online travel agency Buytickets, travel technology provider Sabre and popular tea brand Halda Valley are supporting the programme as partners.
