Trust Bank gets new director

Mr. Arshad Jamal has recently been appointed as Independent Director of Trust Bank Ltd. He will also be a member of Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee of the Board. Mr. Jamal is the chairman of NovoTel Ltd. and Tusuka Group. He is also Director & CFO of Novo Air Ltd. He completed MBA (Finance) from IBA, Dhaka University. Prior to that, he had obtained graduation from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Afterwards, he earned MDS (Master of Development Studies) from BRAC University and finished MDP Course from Columbia University, USA.He is the Vice President of BGMEA and Member, Board of Trustees, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology. He was declared as CIP (Commercially Important Person) by The Government of Bangladesh for the years 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013-2017.
