Two companies change category

Two listed companies - Nahee Aluminum Composite Panel and Makson Spinning Mills - have changed their category effective from today (Thursday) as they reported disbursement dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2017.
Nahee Aluminum will be placed in "A" category from existing "N" category while Makson Spinning will be promoted to "B" category from existing "Z" category, according to separate official disclosure on Wednesday.
The stockbrokers and merchant bankers are requested to abstain from providing loan facilities to purchase security of Nahee Aluminum and Makson Spinning in between 1st to 30th trading day after change of categorization, with effect from Thursday, 2018 as per securities regulator's directive in this regard.
Each share of Nahee Aluminum, which made its share trading debut on Dhaka bourse on December 24, 2017, closed at Tk 56.70, losing 3.24 per cent over the previous day.
Share price of Makson Spinning, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 2009, closed at Tk 9.70, losing 2.02 per cent over the previous day.
