Two officials of Meghna Bank promoted to DMD

Kimiwa Saddat and Md Sadiqur Rahman have recently been promoted to Deputy Managing Directors (DMDs) of Meghna Bank Limited. Prior to this promotion, they were working as Senior Executive Vice President of the bank.

Mr Saddat joined Meghna Bank on March 25 in 2019. Under his leadership, Meghna Bank Corporate Banking is being recognised as one of the preferred names among leading Corporate Houses in country.

He played a pivotal role in achieving 1st International Award for the bank, "Asian Banking & Finance Wholesale Banking Award, 2021", says a press release.

He has approximately 20 years of experience in banking industry in both local and multinational banks.

Mr Saddat is a Certified Financial Consultant (CFC) from the Institute of Financial Consultants (IFC), Canada. He completed MBA from the Department of Finance, Dhaka University.

Md Sadiqur Rahman, the other DMD, was previously working as Senior Executive Vice president and Head of Treasury of Meghna Bank.

In addition, he is working as Director and TREC Holder Representative of Meghna Bank Securities Limited.

In the professional journey, Mr Rahman started off his career with Sonali Bank Limited as a Senior Officer in 1998. Later, he joined AB Bank and successfully carried out various significant roles. He is a seasoned banking professional with proven track record of 25 years of experience.

He did his MBA from Dhaka University and MBM from Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management and DAIBB.
