UCB Foundation, a social and non-profit organisation of United Commercial Bank PLC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & Hospital at the institute in Dhaka on Monday. Arif Quadri, Managing Director & CEO of United Commercial Bank, and Prof Dr Mir Jamal Uddin, Director, NICVD, signed the MoU under which financial assistance would be provided for the treatment of financially challenged child patients with heart disease as part of the CSR activities of the bank. UCB Foundation will bear the cost of required essential devices/accessories needed for the treatment.
