United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) held a daylong training at the Shilpakala Academy Auditorium in Meherpur on Thursday to improve the skills of entrepreneurs working in the agriculture, livestock and fisheries sectors. A total of 135 entrepreneurs from three upazilas of the district participated in the training. Mohammad Shah Alam Bhuiyan, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, was the chief guest of the programme while Rezaul Karim Siddique, presenter of BTV's agriculture-based show 'Mati O Manush' and an agricultural analyst, was present as a special guest. At the end of the training, certificates and various materials, including seeds and fertilizers, were distributed among the participants.
