ULAB seminar on VC

Mr. Afshin Moayed, Principal, Razor Capital, UK, conducted an insightful and interactive two-hour seminar on startup, startup financing, angel investments, venture capital, and alternative investments, for ULAB Executive MBA (EMBA) and MBA students.

The seminar was organized by Mr. Sajid Amit, Director, ULAB EMBA Program. In this seminar, Afshin introduced students to various concepts and practical knowledge related to building startups, common challenges, recipes for success, and how startup financing works.

Mr. Sajid introduced the event by highlighting the importance of creating an enabling environment for venture capital so more entrepreneurs can scale and create jobs that employ youth, while more and more youth aspire to be entrepreneurs.

This is important for inclusive growth. Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to ULAB Board of Trustees and Dean ULAB School of Business, provided closing remarks and handed over a token of appreciation to the guest speaker.
