United Commercial Bank opens UCB Taqwa, an Islamic Banking window

United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) inaugurated Islamic Banking window named UCB Taqwa on Monday at the corporate office of the bank. Saifuzzaman Chowdhury MP, Land Minister, inaugurated UCB Taqwa as the chief guest. UCB Taqwa is committed to offer best-in-class banking services with full compliance with Shariah regulations. Among others, Bazal Ahmed, Vice-Chairman of UCB and Chairman of Shariah Supervisory Committee; Anisuzzaman Chowdhury Ronny, Chairman, Executive Committee of UCB; Bashir Ahmed, Director of UCB and Mohammed Shawkat Jamil, Managing Director of UCB & Member of Shariah Supervisory Committee; were present at the inauguration ceremony.
