US-Bangla launches direct flights from Dhaka to Riyadh

US-Bangla Airlines has launched direct flights from Dhaka to Riyadh, the capital of Kindom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), from Monday, reports UNB.

The inaugural flight departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 2:10 pm with 423 passengers to Riyadh, marking the airline's 14th international destination.

Initially, US-Bangla will operate direct flights between Dhaka and Riyadh five days a week using a 436-seat Airbus A330-300.

According to the schedule, the flights will depart Dhaka every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1:20 pm and land in Riyadh at 5:10 pm local time.

The return flight from Riyadh will depart at 7:15 pm.
